For the first time ever, we are hosting a Downtown Block Party for July 3rd! Where you ask? Main St. West Point, between the BMCYF Youth Center, Blue Mountain Theater, and Sam Snead Real Estate. We have hired two Live Bands for a rockin’ night of Blues, Country, and Rock Music, Nedra and Julio open and then Area 53 for dancing in the streets for all! We are having a fabulous caterer who provides gourmet BBQ delights. Menu includes Smoked Tri Tip, Marinated Chicken, Pesto Cream Pasta, Bourbon Baked Beans, a fresh Garden Green Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette, and a bread roll with butter. Sounds absolutely delicious! Our Vivacious crew of volunteers and the Lion’s Club of West Point are running a children’s area with fun games for the whole family, including, Air Boat Regatta, Corn Hole, Spin the Prize Wheel, and Giant size Jenga! There will be prizes for the littles and plenty of good times to go around. We have a fabulous raffle prize, an ECHO Chain Saw donated by Al Arieta of West Point Lumber, and many more raffle prizes coming in every day. The NO HOST Bar will be open for your enjoyment!
